Aqua Shutters!

I have been obsessed with the idea of painting aqua shutters since seeing  an Odd Molly photo taken outside of Copenhagen.  Now the idea is scary- probably more so for the neighbors... I can always repaint though right? It sort of feels like jumping off a cliff, but I went to Flikr and searched for aqua shutters-

And all of a sudden- it made sense- it's the New Orlean-ian in me that wanted the aqua shutters.  I am so happy to bring a slice of my beloved city to my Oregon home!  So I'm almost brave enough to do it now. whew!

A new online kids mag called Babiekins was kind enough to feature me in their first issue- take a look! So much work and creativity went into this- I would be happy if this was my life's work.
