House of Turquoise

I am starting to figure out what my decorating taste is recently, but am always beating myself up for wanting to paint everything blue and green. 

When I came across the blog House of Turquoise , I knew once and for all that I am not alone in my obsession. Those who know me well will hold up anything aqua blue and say" for you"! So true...

Mark my words, I will not hold back my love of all things aqua, blue, and green again! Erin, you are a woman after my own heart.

My hero today- Madeline Weinrib

  Painter and designer Madeline Weinrib lives and works in New York City. The granddaughter of ABC Carpet & Home founder Max Weinrib, she carries on the family tradition with her innovative collection of artisanally-crafted carpets and textiles.  


I love everything she touches- a collection of custom printed fabrics, reworked vintage pieces and custom rugs, clothing, she does it all. Swoon! I want to be you for a day Madeline!

Putting me to shame!

A girl can aspire. Me, I love to throw parties.  They are always amazing in my head- mediocre in presentation.

Someday, I want to achieve the level of awesomeness that I see on one of my favorite blogs- Hostess with the Mostess.

This one is amazing and makes me fantasize about the day when I can throw a grown up party!
